From Professional Auditor/Accountant to Three-Time Business Owner: 40 Years of Business Experience

 

Over the past 40 years I’ve worked as an auditor/accountant with a top global accounting firm, created enormous efficiencies in the accounting operations for a large national equipment rental company, sold manufacturing and accounting software systems and implementations to global enterprise accounts, and founded, operated, and sold three successful businesses. Across all of those roles, I learned a simple lesson: Reliable financial information leads to better decisions.  

 

Today, I’ve pulled back from the 50+ hour work week. My goal isn’t to build a large firm. Rather, it’s to partner with a limited number of small and mid-sized local trade businesses here in the Durham-Chapel Hill community—businesses I’ve chosen to work with because they keep our community running and have real potential to grow and thrive with the right financial foundation. I want to use my experience to help owners like you navigate the same hurdles I faced — giving you the financial clarity and personal support you need to grow your business and enjoy the life you’re working so hard to build.
